WIS Swimmers at Queensland Championships, Brisbane

Before Christmas, Year 9 students Erin Deayton and Nicholas de Chazal competed at the Queensland Championships in Brisbane. They were part of a 12-person team of swimmers representing Harry Wright International’s Mantas squad.

Both Nicholas and Erin raced in multiple events and posted some huge Personal Best times at the six-day event while also getting to meet Olympians such as Keryn McMaster, Madison Wilson and Cameron McEvoy.

Well done Erin and Nicholas on a superb accomplishment and representing West Island so well!
