WIS vs GSIS – Hockey Report

West Island School played a fantastic match against GSIS on 7 March.

The heavy rain made it difficult for both teams but WIS fought for the ball and really played as a team. During the first half, Michelle and Nicole interlinked superbly and their team work led to the first goal. GK Sera made some important saves but GSIS eventually scored.

West Island came back strong and managed to score a quality second goal. GK scorers were Lauren and Yullia.

The WIS players player was Ruby because of her strong passes and her quality tackling skills. Coaches player was a tie between 2 duos: Michelle and Nicole along with Anais and Lauren.
