WIS Wins Big at Bauhinia Bowl Award

It has been a great 2015 – 2016 sports season for WIS. As we come close to ending the term, we have yet another great sport achievement to report. The Bauhinia Bowl Award acknowledges the best athletes across all schools in Hong Kong and we are pleased to announce that West Island figures in many of the awards that will be awarded on Thursday 30 June at a Presentation Ceremony at Pui Ching Middle School.

WIS award recipients include:

SportsBoy Of The Year:
Co-ed Schools – Miles Williams

Outstanding Athlete Award:
Cross Country (Boys) – Matthew Tan
Cross Country (Girls) – Erin Brown
Rugby (Boys) – James Karton
Swimming (Boys) – Miles Williams

Also nominated  were Aaron Khemlyani (Hockey Boys) and Lucia Bolton (Netball Girls).
