WIS’s star golfer to represent HK in HSBC Golf China Junior Open
Year 12 student Virginie Ding continues her string of successes in Golf as she participated in and won three tournaments between November 2018 and January this year. Following her fantastic achievements, she will now be representing Hong Kong at the 2019 HSBC Golf China Junior Open this month.
Virginie’s recent success include – The Pondok Indah International Junior Golf Championship 2018, hosted in Jakarta in Dec 2018. Ginnie topped in the Girls A division rankings.
The Zhang Lianwei Cup International Junior Golf Macau Open 2018 in November last year, where she again won the first place in the women’s A group competition with a total score of 224.
The Hong Kong Ladies’ Close Amateur Championship 2019, hosted from the 2 – 4 January 2019, where she was the crowned champion. Following this win, Ginnie has been invited to also play in the professional Hong Kong Ladies Open in May this year.
