Year 8 Student Led Conferences

The Year 8 Student Led Conferences took place this Wednesday 15 June and Thursday 16 June. During the conference each student reviewed their progress using the Approaches to Learning skills (ATLs) framework. Students chose three out of the five ATL skills (Communication, Social, Self Management, Research, Thinking) to identify their strengths, areas of growth and areas for further development. Students gave examples of how they had demonstrated the ATLs in lessons as well as CAS activities. At the end of the conference, students set three goals for the following academic year and considered how to achieve their goals with the support of their tutors and parents.
